THE PANIC CHANNEL Getting Ready For ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA Tour

January 4, 2007

THE PANIC CHANNEL guitarist Dave Navarro (ex-JANE'S ADDICTION) has issued the following update:

"So THE PANIC CHANNEL started up rehearsals yesterday for our upcoming tour with [ROCK STAR] SUPERNOVA. It was our first day with [session member] Siggy [Sjursen of POWERMAN 5000] on bass and I have to say that the guy is insane on that thing! We will miss Chris Chaney [regular THE PANIC CHANNEL bassist] on this leg of the tour, but we all understand that family comes first! Meanwhile, Siggy has it all wired and has brought his own flavor to the sound and stage. Plus, he is just cool as hell.

"Anyway, for our shows with SUPERNOVA, we have a 45-minute set. We do have some longer club shows on our own when SUPERNOVA has days off, but for the most part, we will be hitting it and quitting it.

"For the die-hards: If there are any particular songs you would like to hear in the 45-minute set, let us know now. Our plan is to pretty much just go hard and loud for all of it, with maybe an acoustic 'Outsider' as a palate cleanser. As for SUPERNOVA... I saw them in Vegas [New Year's Eve] and I have to say that they are awesome. Tommy [Lee], Lukas [Rossi] and Gilby [Clarke] really have something there and their new bass player is holding it down as if he has been there the whole time. It's gonna be a really fun tour to see... Certainly to be on!"

THE PANIC CHANNEL's trek with ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA is scheduled to kick off January 16 in Hollywood, Florida.

THE PANIC CHANNEL is the new band featuring three quarters of the most recent lineup of JANE'S ADDICTION (Navarro, Chaney and drummer Stephen Perkins) and former SKYCYCLE vocalist Steve Isaacs. The group's debut album, "(ONe)", sold more than 8,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 108 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was produced by Josh Abraham, whose resume includes such multi-platinum artists as KORN, COURTNEY LOVE, LIMP BIZKIT and VELVET REVOLVER, among others. Mixing duties were handled by Ryan Williams, who has previously worked with veteran producer Brendan O'Brien.
